Why Matcha?


You may have heard of this wondrous powder before. What you might not know is why it's so popular? What even is matcha? 


Matcha is made from whole tea leaves that are grown, dried and ground into this super fine, pure green tea powder that contains 10x the nutrients and antioxidants of steeped tea or coffee.

2g of matcha = 10 cups of steeped green tea = 1 espresso shot 

So when you're drinking one serving of matcha, you are drinking the nutrients of 10 cups of green tea (and essentially eat actual green tea leaves).
